Volunteer Your Time Self-Help needs volunteers throughout the year to help in the agency’s various programs. Many of our volunteers help at special events, provide direct service to our programs/seniors or come in on an on-call basis.

Special events
If you are not available Monday - Friday during office hours, you can volunteer for a variety of special events on weekends and/or evenings.
Direct service
If you would like to provide direct service to seniors or volunteer on a regular basis, you can be assigned to a program where there is an immediate need for volunteers and where your interests lie. Some duties may include working directly with seniors at our senior centers, general office work, data entry, tutoring or staffing a phone line.
On-call basis
On a periodic basis, you can volunteer for short-term projects, such as mass mailings, moving and hauling, and flyer distribution.
