Information and Assistance (I&A)

Providing a Connection to Information and Services in the Bay Area

Self-Help for the Elderly has an Information and Assistance (I&A) Program with bilingual specialists to help seniors, adults with disabilities, and caregivers with accessing information and services available within the community. Information and referral services for health and social services include food programs, public benefits, legal services, transportation, case management, housing, and other services requested.

The goal of the I&A Program is to inform older individuals of services available and assist them in utilizing these services and in return enhance the accessibility and efficiency in delivery of services to individuals in the community.

We are fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, several other Chinese dialects, and Vietnamese. We welcome seniors in the Bay Area come and join us for learning more about Information and Assistance (I&A) Program.
