Legacy Tree Campaign

Self-Help for the Elderly’s Legacy Tree Campaign

In 2011, in celebration of the 45th anniversary, Self-Help for the Elderly launched a Legacy Tree Campaign by installing a three-dimensional bronze tree in three locations: San Francisco Main Office, Jackie Chan Senior Center and San Mateo Senior Center. The three-dimensional, bronze trees have names engraved into a leaf to honor donors or remember loved ones.

Donations to this Legacy Tree Campaign will support safety-net senior services and elder care services at Self-Help for the Elderly. Donors who supported this campaign had their names, or those they wished to remember or honor, engraved on one of the leaves on these Legacy Trees or on the Legacy Rocks.

Self-Help for the Elderly celebrates 57th anniversary in 2023 and introduce a special collection of Legacy Butterflies to the Legacy Trees at San Francisco Main Office. The Legacy Butterflies come in Blue or Gold with the choice of plate in brushed gold or brushed copper.

Each Legacy Leaf costs $1,500; Legacy Butterfly costs $3,000; and Legacy Rock costs $5,000.

Donors wish to contribute for a leaf, a butterfly or a rock, please write check payable to Self-Help for the Elderly. Send completed form with check to:
